Improvement of Signage in Ocean View
1. Many of our Historical Markers were worn and desperately needed repair.
The OVCC along with the Ocean View Station Museum and the Willoughby Civic
League approached the city to repair them. It seems that this was once a
joint effort between city and state. A comprise between city and state was
reached and the signs have been repaired.
2. It has been years since the neighborhood signs were placed. The OVCC asked the city to look into replacing these signs. The signs are in the process of being replaced in each neighborhood city wide .

The Ocean View Station Museum is currently open Monday 5 - 8 pm, Tuesday through Friday 2 - 5 pm, Saturday 12 - 5 pm and Sunday 1 til 5 pm year round. It is located at 111 Ocean View AV in the Ocean View community of Norfolk Virginia. For more on the museum visit the website www.ovsm.org .
